I still like SynVideo. Beyond that I want to see Turnabout working sometime in the next couple of years. Also, I predict DC will be back. No one ever leaves Arc...for long.

I am waiting for "let's write warpath in TurnAbout" and "Let's add water to empyrion in TurnAbout"
I sort of hope we do NOT do either of those things, but actually make NEW stuff in TurnAbout.
But I sense Aby will be the King of TurnAbout! (KoTA) and also come up with lots of brilliant API suggestions.
Speaking of which, I am not opposed to linking in a 3rd party graphics library (so long as ultimately I can have it do all its rendering to the Arcadia game window (I mean above the chat bar).
I found a lua binding to a library with which I am not familiar.. with a name I have already forgotten, but it didn't look like windows had native support for that library and if w third party lib DOES get used, I sort of depend on it being zero hassle for everyone to obtain (let's say I am willing to spend up to 200K download as part of arcadia proper for a nice graphics DLL that doesn't require re-writing the universe. In theory, one might think it would be possible for such a DLL to be DirectX friendly, in a way allowing lua to actually generate 3D apps.. though I hesitate to put that forward at this time since there are still so many unanswered asset questions. TurnAbout is already skating on thin ice since it practically demands that the players can all fetch files from each other, which is getting less and less the case. But who knows, perhaps I will have a breakthrough in easy-firewall-auto-config-and-port-forward that magically makes it easy for everyone.

*- Oh, speaking of the Turnabout API. Dan, I think it will save you dealing with a lot of annoying questions later on if you include a file in the Turnabout folder that contains the 'current' API reference. As a pleasant side effect, this also makes it easy for us to find it ^^

I can't remember what the toy's name is to save my life, but it's the one where people take turns writing a story.
Memory I'll take to my grave is sittin' around with a bunch of friends and at the time a guy I didn't really know all too much (Dan the Man) and bustin' out a few stories. That was like.... six years ago.
Jeeze I'm getting old.

I prefer synvideo though most people don't.
My friends and I play various online games, and we use synvideo as sort of a hub to share images of our games and maybe get each other interested in them.
