That's a map (still in the rough stages) made in Sauerbraten. Once I've finished, it will be fully detailed, and I'll be able to take screenshots from it for both maps and scenes in my world, and in fact, will have all of the world's submaps on here as well (that map is *not* small in any way).

If anything can get me back to WoS coding then it's probably this little thing. [Razz]

http://www.crimsoneditor.com/
Download link for Crimson Editor

It works a lot like the new IE's and Firefox browsers, except then with text files.

If anybody could make a language file for this thing (I have yet to find out how to do this myself, bit low on time thesedays) then it'd be even better.

Basicly this is the ultimate Wordpad/ Notepad for coders. [Big Grin]

Wikipedia's article on worldbuilding may be of use to World Developers in the early stages of creation.

Hey Silver, have you done any work on that language file for crimson?

If anyone wants it, I made one, its very basic, it highlights: QUEST script commands, labels and comments in different colours, and for some reason it highlights some words contained within quotation marks but not others(?).

It doesn't do any syntax checking except if you use an invalid command it won't be highlighted

*edit*
Fixed the quotation mark thing. Now all words in quotation marks are highlighted unless they are part of a comment.

*edit2*
Sorry for the lack of updates lol

Added cookie highlights with different font colours depending on cookie type e.g. monster cookies are a different colour to item cookies.

Note1: Colouring of cookies only effects stock cookies when being called, not written to.

Note2: Cookies within quotation marks are the same colour as text within quotation marks.

I didn't work on the file no, Rusga.

Another resource that's not put up here, but very useful; my very own developed world test tool ProxBeta.
Version 2.6 is the last version I worked on and the last published version.

Basically it allows world developers to do everything they want in their world. You can teleport to maps/ scenes, give/ take items, tokens, spells, etc., read cookies, fight monters and many many other things.

Apart from some recent additions to WoS it's still completely up to date. I believe it's one of the most used resources by fellow developers. [Smile]

Also, Terminal is a highly powerful tool for world developers familiar with QUEST. It gives one direct access to all of the QUEST commands (plus a few more), as well as a few other tools useful to developers. It's also extensible fairly easily through plugins.
