Here is the current list the rules for the world developers forum. Please take a moment to review them. Be aware that the Forum ToS applies here as well. Feel free to post suggestions for additional rules you feel would be helpful to enforce. Post complaints about rule violations here as well. Thank You.
World Developer's Forum Rules:
1. Always treat fellow members with respect and courtesy. Always.
2. Synthetic-Reality is a family site. As this forum is a part of that site, no language, avatar image or external website links inappropriate for children will be tolerated. No posting of vulgar or obscene material, or other materials that are inappropriate for children. If you are uncertain as to whether a certain word, image, or link is allowed, contact a moderator or Dan Samuel himself beforehand.
3. For your safety, no posting of any personal contact information. Electronic contacts like email and messenger ids are fine to post.
4. No misquotations or misrepresentations of other members. No impersonation of other users.
5. Spoilers must be clearly marked before posted. No spoilers in thread topics. Threads that concern large amounts of spoilers must include the word “Spoilers” in the topic field.
6. No irritating posting styles, including use of all caps and excessive punctuation.
7. Discussion must be on-topic only. This forum is for information relevant to world developers.
8. No posting of flames or material intended to start a flame war. No derogatory comments against other posters, including slurs based on race, religion, gender, sexual preference, or political affiliation. No personal threats or harassment.
9. No off-topic links to personal websites. Remember, only links to sites relevant to world developers will be allowed here. Do not attempt to spam a topic with links to another topic unless what you are linking to is directly relevant to the post. Doing so may result in the deletion of the topic being spammed especially if it was created by the spammee.
10. Avatar images should be small enough that they do not bump the text on the pages they appear. Post signatures are limited to 3 lines only.
Moderators monitor your compliance with these rules and will take action to enforce these rules at their discretion.
