Wonder of wonders my world is nearly playable!
Thing is I need to go ahead and put it some where for a few of my friends to download so they can help me with quest ideas bless them!
From all the stuff I have read on this forum about webhosts and third party downloads in the past would I not be better off paying $7.77 a month for 100mb of space? Hubby may whine a bit but another gallon of home made ice cream should solve that problem.
Another problem is the fact that I know almost nothing about how to set up such a critter would there possibly be some one willing to help with the web page stuff in return for putting their world on it too? I mean my world is going to be large but 100mb should be way more than I need.

I can't really help, but I'd like to see just how large this is. It's only as good as the amount of time you put in. Sounds like it's going to be good.

Well Cact I am chruning out artwork at an alarming rate ( mostly with the mavica) and I am around 12mb zipped. I haven't done any of the quests or any special links that might be needed for them and I plan on having a hundred so I'd say at least 20mb if not more. You see I have alot of time and hope this will keep me busy for several years. I also am hopeless at drawing or painting but do well with a camera or a carving knife. You should see what one can do for tunnel maps spending an afternoon making mudpies and a close up straight down shot of a moss looks remarkably like a forest.

In the coming week or so I intend to open up a site to host files for WoS worlds (actually a gaming site, but I will ahve the space for it). Hold off on the investments for one more week or so ;-)

Bless you Merlin! The expense isn't that much of a problem I just hate to have to learn yet another software in order to get my world done.
Cactrot hun if you get depressed cause it isn't big enough I can always send you some nice fat juicy .jpgs. I believe this weeks photo safari menu is to be funky old dead trees.
On that note if anyone needs backgrounds or digital photos suitable for maps just give me a yell, chances are if I don't already have it I can take what you want on a week-end photo binge.
